RLD Associates, Inc. has been conducting premium audits in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the past 20 years. We take tremendous pride in our Pennsylvania Test Audit Results for the numerous insurance companies we represent. Recently we received our calendar year test audit results from several of our clients. The results are as follows:
2008 Calendar Year Pennsylvania Test Audit Results:
Carrier 1: 8 errors out of 68 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 11.8%
Carrier 2: 6 errors out of 38 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 15.8%
Carrier 3: 18 errors out of 107 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 16.8%
Carrier 4: 6 errors out of 85 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 7.1%
Carrier 5: 3 errors out of 33 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 9.1%
Carrier 6: 3 errors out of 24 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 12.5%
Carrier 7: 9 errors out of 40 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 22.5%
Carrier 8: 4 errors out of 31 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 12.9%
Carrier 9: 1 error out of 27 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 2.7%
Carrier 10: 9 errors out of 40 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 22.5%
Carrier 11: 1 error out of 16 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 6.3%
Carriers Total 68 errors out of 509 decisions: Cumulative Error Ratio: 13.4%
According to the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau, the total error ratio of all workers’ compensation carriers in 2008 was 16.4% for the calendar year of 2008. As you can see from the results above, RLD Associates outperformed the total results for all carriers tested in 2008.
